Why employers need a CMS

Contracted workers fall apart when SOWs, timesheets and payments live in different places

Most companies already use agencies or independent contractors. The gap is running them as one contractor management programme - with clear statements of work, authorised timesheets and a single view of spend.

  • Contractors spread across tools

Agency contractors and independent assignments sit in separate inboxes, folders and spreadsheets, so nobody owns the full contract workforce.

  • Statements of work without a home

Fees, payment schedules and authorised expenses live in email attachments, which makes each assignment hard to evidence when finance or audit asks.

  • Monthly payments that stay manual

Invoices, authorised time records and multi-currency payouts are chased one by one, so contractor payments slow down as the programme grows.

  • No single view of the programme

Extensions, locations, skills and spend are hard to report on when contractor data never lands in one system.

One contractor management workspace for every contracted worker you engage.Find the contractor, agree the statement of work, then track time and pay in one system.

How contractor management works

Find, engage, run and report in one lifecycle

A clear path for every contracted worker - from first search to day-to-day management and renewals.

01

Find

Identify contractors through verified agencies by skill, performance and location, or start from a contractor you already know.

02

Engage

Agree the statement of work, send contracts for authenticated signatures and store every document before work starts.

03

Run

Track timesheets, process invoices and pay on the monthly schedule set in the statement of work.

04

Report

Extend assignments when you need them, and report on contractor spend, location, category and skill from one place.

  • Contractors through verified agencies
  • Bring your own agencies
  • Statements of work and documents
  • Timesheets and extensions
  • Monthly contractor payments
  • Contractor reporting

Run both engagement models in the same contractor management system, with a statement of work and payment flow for each assignment.

Agency-managed contractors

Source contractors through verified agencies, or bring the ones you already use. You run the assignment on the platform.

Independent contractor assignments

Already have the contractor? Set the statement of work, then track time and pay in the same system.

Contractor payments

Monthly payments through one unified process

Remove the admin of paying contracted workers across borders. Contractor fees follow the statement of work and authorised time records.

  • Monthly invoicing for contractor fees, unless you agree a different schedule in writing.
  • Invoices are based on and supported by authorised time records.
  • One unified payment process in multiple currencies or locations.
  • Authorised expenses itemised in the applicable statement of work can be charged with the contractor fees.

Statements of work stored in line with compliance

End-to-end document handling for contractor assignments - so agreements, signatures and extensions stay auditable.

  • Statements of work set contractor fees, payment schedules and authorised expenses for each assignment.
  • Create contracts and send them to agencies or contractors for certified, authenticated signatures.
  • Store agreements and related documents in one central platform with access control.
  • Be notified of renewals and manage contract extensions in the same workspace.

FAQ

Questions about contractor management

FAQs
How do I set up an account?

Book a demo with our team. Together we will look at your current agency and contractor process and choose the contractor management solution that fits your needs.

How many staffing agencies can I reach?

Through the platform you can reach over 23,000 staffing agencies in 100+ countries. They typically supply professional and experienced roles. Contact us for a report on the network for any job category and location.

Can I add my own staffing agencies through RAMP.Global?

Yes. During onboarding you can add agencies you already work with. They go through an expedited vetting process and are approved to work with you. You can also refer new agencies and RAMP will onboard them on your behalf.

How do statements of work fit into contractor management?

Each contractor assignment is governed by a statement of work. It sets the contractor fees, payment schedule and authorised expenses for that assignment, and sits with the signed contracts and documents you store on the platform.

How do monthly contractor payments work?

RAMP invoices contractor fees on a monthly basis unless you agree otherwise in writing. Invoices are based on authorised time records, and payments run through one unified process in multiple currencies or locations.

Can I manage both agency-managed and independent contractors?

Yes. You can source contractors through verified agencies, or set up a statement of work for an independent contractor assignment you already have. Both run through the same CMS for documents, timesheets and payments.

Do you provide customer support globally?

Yes. RAMP.Global was designed to support modern multinational companies.
